What they want
The Genetics and Genomics Core Facility (WestCore) of SD BRIN provides assistance for the maintenance of genetic and genomics related services. This includes nucleic acid sequencing, genotyping, and qPCR technology. Historically, the Genomics Core at USD focused on microarray and qPCR, while WestCore at BHSU focused on sequencing and genotyping. WestCore has expanded to include NextGeneration sequencing using an Illumina MiSeq platform to support SD BRIN investigators and other researchers throughout South Dakota.
