Project Summary/Abstract Sleep apnea affects over one billion people worldwide, with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) accounting for more than 85% of cases. OSA is characterized by repeated episodes of airway obstruction during sleep, leading to fragmented sleep and reduced oxygen levels. OSA is linked to several health complications, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cognitive impairment.
