Core C: Electrophysiology Core

US · IL NIH RePORTER grant open #nih-2P01HL149630-06

Summary

The Electrophysiology Core (Core C) will provide services for in vitro electrophysiological studies using novel tools such as optogenetics and in vitro GCaMP6 calcium imaging for various research projects.

What they want

The Core will prepare brain slices, conduct patch-clamp recordings, channelrhodopsin2 (ChR2)-assisted circuit mapping (CRACM), and Ca2+ imaging studies in brain slices. It will also perform histology of the recorded slices and analyze the associated data.
