What they want

The Administrative Core is responsible for promoting relevant research through funding and coordination of the Developmental Core, Community Engagement Core, and Exposure Assessment Core. It coordinates multi-institutional partnerships in the National Capital Region, drawing on complementary expertise to bridge novel geospatial datasets to health-protective solutions for climate-sensitive risk factors. Key functions include providing leadership and governance for the Center, administrative and fiscal oversight and management, propelling innovative approaches for multi-institutional partnerships, and driving collaboration and communication between investigators, government and community partners, NIH, and the Research Coordinating Center and Community of Practice. The Core's management structure includes an Executive Committee (Directors/Co-Directors of each Core plus institutional representatives from George Washington University, George Mason University, Howard University, and Environmental Defense Fund) guided by Internal and External Advisory Boards. Administrative Core Co-Directors serve as liaisons to the other Cores.
