PROJECT SUMMARY/ABSTRACT Chagas disease, caused by the parasite Trypanosoma cruzi, is a significant global health concern, primarily affecting Latin America but also impacting regions in Europe and the US. Currently, there are limited treatment options available, and no vaccines have been developed.
