Chemical Exposure Facility Core

US · IL National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant open #nih-3P30ES030287-05S1

Summary

The Chemical Exposure Facility Core (CXC) provides passive sampling devices (PSDs) and analytical services for over 1,500 organic chemicals to advance environmental health science.

What they want

The CXC offers directly analytical methods for over 1,500 organic chemicals and facilitates additional chemical analyses through campus resources. It provides personal sampling wristband technology with unique analytical methods to assess chemical bioavailable exposure. The core extracts and analyzes chemical mixtures, enabling members to measure concentrations of environmental toxicants. It also provides novel and appropriate data visualization of wristband data to investigators, study participants, and their communities.
