PROJECTS SUMMARY/ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: With 2.3 million new cases per year, breast cancer is among the most diagnosed cancers in women globally and is the leading cause of cancer mortality in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs), including Rwanda.
